ROSTER FAQ

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What is Roster? How is it affiliated with Ghetto Film School?

Roster is a community of creative professionals 18 to 34 years of age based in New York and Los Angeles. Roster helps identify, develop, and connect emerging talent with the resources they need to advance in their careers.

How can I join Roster?

If you are a creative professional between 18 and 34 years old, you can apply here. Within two weeks from submission, you will receive an email confirming if you’re qualifying for Roster membership, and if so, you will be able to start taking advantage of all Roster benefits immediately.

I’m already a Roster member who signed up prior to 2021, do I need to apply again?

Yes. If you already signed up for Roster in the past, we ask that you please update all your information and material by submitting the form again.

Within two weeks from submission, you will receive an email confirming if you’re still qualifying for Roster membership, and if so, you will be able to start taking advantage of all Roster benefits immediately.

Are live and virtual events recorded for later viewing?

Yes, every event is recorded. Event recordings are usually available the following week on the Past Events page in Roster Members Area.

Do you use the material I submit in the application with third parties without my permission?

No. All the material submitted in the application process is evaluated to determine your qualifications for Roster membership. We keep a file of your creative material and resume to support your professional development, should you choose to make improvements, and to get to know you better before suggesting you for fitting job openings, labs, workshops or other programming. We will never submit your material without your permission and, usually, we will ask you to resubmit any updated material for any given opportunity.
