Gloria S. Álvarez is a filmmaker & producer, currently serving as Program Coordinator for GFS LA. She is a proud Ghetto Film School alum, having directed her class' thesis film in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Through GFS she also produced and hosted GFS MasterClass, an online series of sessions between celebrated industry directors and young filmmakers from around the world, garnering over a million views on YouTube.

She is passionate about stories in all media formats, self-expression & identity, and making bomb playlists.
